Bridgeway Financial Group was founded by Baffin Wong. Baffin saw a real need in the market for a service that educated and guided Kiwi’s when it came to their financial future. Not only was Baffin passionate about creating a business which overcame barriers to kiwis accessing professional financial advice, he wanted to create a company which essentially mentored clients through the ever-evolving stages of their financial journey.

Baffin has always had an interest in the finance industry since studying finance at Otago University and living the kiwi dream of running his very own restaurant and café before committing to a business in financial services.
As a successful family and businessman, Baffin likes to approach situations by trying to put himself into his clients shoes, whether that be a business owner looking at ways to safeguard his business, a young couple looking to purchase their first home, or a couple looking at ways to protect the assets they have built and acquire an investment property to allow them to retire more comfortably.
Whilst Baffin considers himself to be a busy family man who enjoys being a husband and father to three beautiful children, he still likes to find time to dedicate to his local community and is an avid reader who dedicates time to personal growth – Baffin sees one of his main purposes in life is motivate and guide not only his clients, but others in his community.

Kylie started her career in the finance and insurance industry in a support role in 2005 and quickly realised this was the career path for her. After many years developing her skills and knowledge through working in various career-building roles, she discovered her real motivation is supporting advisers and helping their clients. Kylie believes that advisers with the right support work more efficiently and ultimately, deliver higher levels of customer satisfaction.
Kylie is highly organised and process-driven; exercising her exceptional eye for detail to ensure nothing is overlooked, and everything remains on track. She loves the hustle and bustle of the finance and insurance sectors as there is always something new to learn or a problem to help solve.
